Business makes life quicker, easier

We all are searching for that last quarter in our purses or our pockets.
“I know I have more change than this,” we say to ourselves.
We just need one more coin to be able to access the cold Sun Drop or Snickers bar that is right in front of us.
When we do, instant gratification sinks in and we enjoy our long awaited snack.
Before we realize it, there are machines where we can buy products ranging from cold medicines to protein shakes. The convenience of having an instant minimart in our workplace or school makes our lives a little bit easier.
Vendweb.com has been making peoples lives a lot simpler for years.
In Charge: Lindel and Norma Creed are the owners and operators.
Location: 3912 Tryon Courthouse Rd., Cherryville. Phone: (704) 435-1466. You can also reach them on the web at www.vendweb.com.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and by appointment only on Saturdays.
Offers: They sell new and refurbished vending machines. They offer gumball machines, personal item machines, DVD machines, college supply machines, books, snacks and soda vending to name a few. They can custom make a vending machine to whatever you choose to merchandise. They also offer repair and refurbishing services.
The Boss Says: “Anything you can put into a vending machine, we can supply you with the machine to merchandise it,” Lindel Creed said. “It is a 24-hour distribution center for products.”
Business Fun Fact: Creed has more than 30 years experience in vending and engineering work. He started as an electrical technician in the U.S. Navy working on helicopters and later worked as an National Service Manager at a machine manufacturing company in Des Moines, Iowa.
Creed also claims experience as part of the research development team that developed the wireless headsets for the fast-food industry. He later decided to use his experience in the vending field and started his business 10 years ago.
The business started on the Web and they have recently opened their Cherryville showroom in February of this year. “We like to be able to have the ease of access to a product,” he said. “We have customers around the world.”
